Everyone should have the chance to learn and grow. We create programs for people who have faced barriers to learning. We listen, work in partnership, and adjust our programs to fit the needs of all kinds of learners and communities. This includes making programs for Indigenous learners, newcomers to Canada, and families.

Our programs and courses use visuals, words, and audio. We also have videos and courses to help you build digital skills and learn online. You can use your computer, phone, or tablet, so learning is always at hand, no matter where you are.

Our online courses are easy to use and engaging. You can learn at your speed with subjects that interest you. Choose from topics such as how to communicate effectively, manage your money, build social skills for the workplace, and boost your confidence.

You can improve your reading and everyday skills at your own pace and in your own space.

We have online and in-person programs for adults and families. Our programs can help you improve your reading and writing, parenting skills, workplace skills, and more. Programs usually run once a week, for ten weeks or less, with 5-10 learners in the group. Our facilitators work with you to ensure your comfort and learning needs are met.

While most of our programs are held in Calgary with partner agencies, we can offer them across Canada.

We offer 'Train the Facilitator' workshops across Canada to help communities and organizations improve their clients' reading, writing and essential skills. The training gives you the tools to create your own literacy program that caters to your community's needs.

Our training is for anyone who works with adults and families. You can use it in many community and workplace settings, such as schools, community centers, outreach programs, and job services.

You can attend our training online or in person, and we can customize it for your community or organization.
